Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - Fairfield County, CT - Permanent, Direct Hire
- Offering a $30,000 sign-on bonus
- Full-time night shift Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery Unit.
- As part of a well-established team of patient-focused professionals, you will coordinate patient care, provide supervision and mentorship to non-RN team members.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver patient care following established standards of practice.
- Supervise non-RN personnel and act as a resource for ancillary staff.
- Provide safe and therapeutic care using hospital values.
- Assess patient's physical and psychosocial condition, develop and communicate patient plan of care.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team.
- Document patient care accurately and timely.
- Participate in performance improvement, research activities, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Valid Connecticut Registered Nurse license.
- BSN strongly preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
