Job Description
We are seeking a L&D RN (Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse) for a 13-week assignment in Lexington, Nebraska. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced, compassionate nurse who is comfortable working night shifts and providing high-quality care in a labor and delivery setting.
Position Details

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Assist with deliveries and support physicians and the care team during procedures
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
Requirements
- Active RN license required
- Labor and Delivery experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused approach to care
- Must be able to meet all compliance requirements prior to assignment
