Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (LDRP RN) to join a busy obstetrics department. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to women and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and the postpartum period while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns.
  • Perform patient triage and Non-Stress Tests (NSTs).
  • Serve as the second nurse during deliveries and assist with overflow patient care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and allied healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, childbirth, or recovery.
  • Deliver safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care throughout the childbirth journey.

Requirements

  • Active RN License (Current and in Good Standing).
  • Labor & Delivery experience required.
  • Must be labor-trained.

Required Certifications

  • BLS/BCLS
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • STABLE Certification
  • Fetal Monitoring Certification (Intermediate level or higher)

Additional Information
