Shift: Night Shift (6:45 PM - 7:00 AM)
EMR: EPIC
Holiday Coverage: Required
License: Active State RN License Required
Experience: Minimum 1 Year
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (LDRP RN) to join a busy obstetrics department. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns
- Perform patient triage and Non-Stress Tests (NSTs)
- Serve as the second nurse during deliveries
- Manage overflow patients as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Monitor and support patients experiencing pregnancy, delivery, or postpartum complications
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the childbirth journey

Required Qualifications
- Active RN License
- Labor & Delivery experience
- Must be labor-trained
Required Certifications
- BLS/BCLS
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- STABLE
- Fetal Monitoring Certification (Intermediate Level or Higher)
