Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg / Emergency Department (Night Shift)
Job Type: Contract

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in Medical Surgical and Emergency Department nursing for a 13-week travel assignment. Candidates must be comfortable caring for a diverse patient population and have recent experience with Spine/Orthopedic Post-Operative patients, with a strong emphasis on Med/Surg care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in Med Surg and Emergency Department settings.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Deliver care to adult, pediatric, orthopedic, and emergency patients as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Colorado RN License
- Minimum 4 years of nursing experience
- Recent Spine/Ortho Post-Op patient experience required
- Experience in:
- Med-Surg Adult
- Med-Surg Pediatrics
- Med-Surg Orthopedics
- Emergency Department
- Critical Access Hospital settings
Required Certifications
- ACLS
- BLS/BCLS
- PALS
- TNCC
Additional Information
- Patient Ratio: 1:5
- EMR: Meditech
- Holiday coverage is required.
- COVID-19 vaccination required per state regulations.
- Travelers must reside at least 65 miles from the work site to qualify.
- Shared housing assistance may be available for eligible travelers.
- No pets and no smoking permitted in provided housing.
