Job Description
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for a Float Pool assignment supporting ICU, Emergency Department, and Med-Surg/Pediatric units. Candidates must be highly flexible and comfortable floating between departments based on daily staffing needs.
Schedule
- Flexible 8 to 12-hour shifts
- Day and Night shifts available
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ICU, ED, Adult Med-Surg, and Pediatric Med-Surg settings
- Float to assigned units based on operational needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate patient documentation
- Deliver safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Active RN License
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
- Experience must include:
- Emergency Department (ED)
- Medical-Surgical/Pediatrics
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Required Certifications
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- PALS
- TNCC
- Moderate Sedation Certification (may be obtained after confirmation if needed)
Additional Information
- Travelers may be required to float to other qualified units and assist with patient care or unit support tasks.
- Orientation is conducted on Mondays only.
- Holiday coverage is required.
- EMR Experience: RPMS preferred.
