Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, age-specific patient care in an acute care setting. The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while adhering to nursing standards, policies, and applicable healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to Med Surg and Telemetry patients.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and provide leadership to support staff.
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Required Certifications
- ACLS (Active)
- BLS/BCLS (Active)
- PALS or ENPC (Active prior to start date or enrolled before orientation)
Preferred Experience
- Med Surg experience
- Telemetry experience
- Step Down/PCU experience preferred
- Experience with acute care patient populations
Additional Information
- EMR: CPSI/Evident
- State License: Required upon acceptance
- Holiday Coverage: Not required
- Minimum Experience: Less than 1 year accepted
