Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing to provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will utilize the nursing process, deliver age-specific patient care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and organizational policies.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and provide leadership to support staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Participate in patient and family education initiatives.

Requirements

• Active RN License (required upon acceptance)
• BLS/BCLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification (or ENPC equivalent)
• De-escalation Training active prior to contract start date (or course scheduled before orientation)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Experience

• Minimum Experience: Less than 1 year accepted
