Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.

• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and recognize changes in patient status.

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.

• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow hospital safety protocols.

• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

• Active RN license or eligibility for licensure in the state of employment.

• Strong communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.

• Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred; specific experience requirements vary by opening.

• BLS certification and any additional certifications required by the employer.
