Registered Nurse City of Industry, CA
Seeking a Full time Registered Nurse (RN) for an occupational health role in City of Industry, CA. We are looking for an Enthusiastic, Experienced RN who will be responsible for overseeing and evaluating employee’s health, as well as providing general first aid, education on health, wellness, and safety in the workplace, and collaborating with Teladoc. The RN will build strong relationships with the employees at the site, while being part of a team and participating in video calls with other nurses and employees.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Licensed in the state of CA
- Must be Bilingual in Spanish
- RN with minimum 3 years Occupational Health experience
- BLS and CPR certification preferred
- Familiarity with utilization of EMR/EHR
- Ability to establish rapport and trust with employees
Duties:
- General first aid and triage; Clean/Assess wounds. Call EMS/ER if employee needs to be transferred to the ER
- Monitor employees recovering at home and those with injuries/conditions that need at work monitoring
- COVID temp checks: Daily temp checks on employees as they arrive for work, follow procedures if employee tests positive
- Continuing Employee Education: Answer general health-related questions. Provide employees with educational materials on how to prevent injuries in the workplace, stop the spread of COVID, preventative measures, etc.
- Data Entry: Recording patient interactions, diagnoses, and listing all medical data in an EMR/EHR
- Teladoc Collaboration: Provide objective information should the employee have a sore throat, suspected ear infection, or other illness needing physician oversight. Take vitals and provide info to the Teladoc

- Medical and Caring Skills- deal with employee medical problems and care for them in a comprehensive way
- Establish rapport and trust with employees and management at client site
- Flexibility/adapting to help when unforeseen problems arise
- Discretion and commitment to confidentiality and careful communication
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday (Day Shift)
- No Weekends
- Hours are TBD and may fluctuate
Salary: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
