Oncology/Respiratory Unit RN
POSITION SUMMARY:
- This position entails providing nursing care to medical-surgical patients and/or oncology patients throughout the course of illness.
- All care provided is within the patient first philosophy of care and is in accordance with organization's Standards of Caring Behaviors.
- Must have a high level of interpersonal and communication skills and be a demonstrated team player.
- Must demonstrate reliability and accountability to team members and patients.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Ability to work as a team player.
- Ability to complete a comprehensive age specific nursing care to the population of patients within the assigned unit/area.
- Must have a high level of interpersonal and communication skills and be a demonstrated team player.
- Must demonstrate reliability and accountability to team members and patients.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
OCN, Chemo-/bio-therapy certification, oncology nursing experience.
