Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical
Schedule: Flexible Options - 36 or 24 Hours, Nights or Day/Night with Rotating Weekends/Holidays
2 weeks on days/2 weeks on nights
Position Summary:

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Medical Surgical Unit, encompassing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and patient education.
• Foster effective communication with diverse healthcare team members, patients, and their families.
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
• Maintain and update patient records with accuracy.
• Input and interpret computerized data/information.
• Adhere to guidelines and policies established by the hospital nursing organization.
• Collaborate with the leadership team on quality improvement projects as needed.
Job Requirements:
• Hold a current license to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Preferably possess 1+ years of RN experience in a hospital or sub-acute care
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required in specific units.
• Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN, or BSN (preferred); Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years.
• Relevant clinical experience and/or specialty certification required for certain practice areas.
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Fluency in another language is advantageous.
