Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a critical access facility in Cordova, AK. This is a high-impact day shift role with a focus on Long-Term Care (LTC) and Med-Surg/Acute. Experience in the Emergency Department (ED) is a plus.

This position is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a rural, team-oriented environment and is ready to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and compassionate care to LTC and Med-Surg patients

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans

• Respond to patient needs and emergencies efficiently

• Accurately document assessments, medications, and interventions

• Maintain infection control and patient safety protocols

• Flex between LTC and acute settings as needed

Requirements:

• Active Alaska RN license (must be current at submission)

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (TNCC a plus)

• Must be flexible, reliable, and team-oriented

• EMR: Experience with PointClickCare preferred

• Willing to provide holiday coverage

Compensation & Benefits:

• Housing provided (within walking distance of the facility)

• Pets not allowed in housing

• No rental car provided; housing is close to the hospital
