Facility: Kona Community Hospital
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: May 25, 2026
Schedule: 12-Hour Night Shifts | 72 Hours Every 2 Weeks

A healthcare facility in Hawaii is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Float Pool assignment. This position requires floating between two Medical Surgical/Telemetry units and supporting Med Surg overflow patients in ICU and Emergency Department settings as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care within Med Surg and Telemetry units
- Float between assigned departments based on census and staffing needs
- Support overflow patient care in ICU and ED environments
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support quality patient outcomes
Requirements
- Active Hawaii RN License
- Minimum 3 years of recent RN experience
- Previous Med Surg and Telemetry experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to work night shifts and float between departments
Assignment Details
- 13-week travel contract
