Perioperative RN – Contract Opportunity
Position: Perioperative RN
Specialty: Operating Room / Perioperative / OR Circulate
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: August 20, 2026
Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, 5×8s
Call: Approximately 7–9 days per month, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; 20-minute response time
EMR: Meditech

Estimated Traveler Pay

Weekly Gross: $2,981.50

Weekly Taxable: $1,368.00

Hourly Taxable: $38.00

Hourly Blended: $82.82

Overtime: $57.00/hour
Requirements
-
Active, unencumbered RN license in Utah or a compact state

Graduate of an accredited nursing program
-
BLS certification required
-
ACLS certification required or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire

Strong knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
-
Excellent patient safety and communication skills
-
Ability to work effectively in stressful and changing situations
Preferred Experience
-
Surgical/Operating Room experience
-
Pre-op and/or PACU experience
-
Experience circulating General, Orthopedic, and OB cases, including C-sections

Ability to assist with trauma cases in the ER
-
Confidence managing emergency surgical cases independently during call
Additional: Holiday coverage required. Drug screening and background check required.
