Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Utah. This role is ideal for an OR nurse with strong circulating experience who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and is confident managing emergency surgical cases during on-call hours.

The Perioperative RN will provide comprehensive nursing care throughout the surgical process while ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile technique, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary surgical team.

Compensation Package

Estimated Traveler Pay

• Weekly Gross: $3,150.00
• Weekly Taxable: $1,260.00
• Weekly Non-Taxable: $1,890.00

Pay Breakdown

• Hourly Taxable Rate: $35.00
• Hourly Blended Rate: $87.50
• Overtime Rate: $52.50

Call Requirements

• Approximately 7-9 call days per month
• Includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must maintain a 20-minute response time
• Holiday coverage required

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Utah or Compact State
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
• Strong knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
• Excellent communication and patient safety skills
• Ability to adapt to high-stress and rapidly changing situations

Preferred Experience

• Operating Room / Surgical Services experience
• Pre-Op and/or PACU experience
• Experience circulating General, Orthopedic, and OB cases, including C-Sections
• Ability to assist with trauma cases in the ER
• Confidence working independently during emergency call cases
