Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) | Contract Opportunity
NIKTOR LLC is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment.
Position Details
- Job Type: Contract
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: Varied
- Open Positions: 2
- EMR System: Epic
- Holiday Coverage: Required
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- License Requirement: Active State RN License required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Operating Room setting.
- Circulate during surgical procedures while ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical standards.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic EMR.
- Participate in required weekday and weekend on-call rotations.
Schedule & Call Requirements
- Open to either:
- 3 x 12-hour shifts, or
- 4 x 10-hour shifts
- Weekend call approximately every 4th to 5th weekend.
- One weekday night of on-call duty per week.
Required Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS/BCLS (Basic Life Support)
Required Skills
- Operating Room (OR) experience
- OR Circulator experience
- Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
