(Archived) Registered Nurse, RN - Inpatient Surgical Services *Sign-On Bonus Potential*

The Augusta Health Inpatient Surgical Unit is a medical-surgical floor with 24 private rooms that specializes in surgical cases. Patients may have a variety of operations ranging from orthopedics, general surgery, thoracic, urology, gynecology, and vascular cases. The Surgical Unit will offer you a chance to utilize your excellent assessment skills and broaden your knowledge of both surgical and medical patients.

We currently have several Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) positions open on our Inpatient Surgical Unit. The Registered Nurse is accountable for the coordination of direct patient care, education, and serves as a leader of the patient care team. The RN will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high quality patient care.

Requirements

• Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Minimum of one year of RN experience in an acute care setting required
• BSN or ADN currently enrolled in a BSN program preferred
• BLS certification required
• Positive attitude, with enthusiasm for caring for our community
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management skills
