Shifts: Night (19:00 - 07:30)

Local Rate:
Total Gross for 13 weeks = $2,898 x 13 weeks = $37,674
Regular pay for 24 regular hours (3 shifts of 12 hours each) = 24 x $69 = $1,656
Overtime pay for 12 hours = 12 x $69 x 1.5 = $1,242
Travel allowance for 36 hours (40 hours max) = 36 x $0 = $
Total weekly pay for 36 hours = $2,898
Effective blended rate = $2,898 / 36 hours = $80.5 per hour

Responsibilities:
Observing newborns for signs of illness, changes in behavior, or difficulty breathing
Providing newborn care such as bathing, dressing, and weighing the baby at regular intervals
Teaching new mothers about infant development, nutrition, sleep patterns, safety concerns, and other topics related to parenting
Monitoring mothers’ physical health during postpartum care, including checking weight gain, measuring blood pressure, and performing breast exams
Providing support to mothers who are experiencing anxiety, stress, or other mental health issues related to pregnancy or parenting
Conducting research on best practices in postpartum care and sharing findings with other nurses or healthcare providers
Providing emotional support to mothers who are struggling with the transition to parenthood or other life stressors
Observing newborns for signs of illness, changes in behavior, or difficulty breathing
Performing tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding newborns
