Currently working with to assist with coverage for an RN for OR/OR Circulate Days in Springfield VT, in February with a start date of 2/06/2023. Please find additional details regarding the opportunity below.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Surgical Associates offers general surgery services that deal with abdominal organs, soft tissue masses and traumatic injuries. Our General Surgeon is always on call at Springfield Hospital for urgent/emergent surgery such as appendectomy, surgery to relieve bowel obstruction or repair of complex lacerations. Some commonly performed surgical procedures include:
- Colonoscopy
- Upper GI Endoscopy
- Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy (removal of the gallbladder)
- Soft Tissue Mass Excision (Lipomas, cysts)
- Open and Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair
- Open and Laparoscopic Umbilical Hernia Repair
- Open and Laparoscopic Incisional Hernia Repair
- Excisional Biopsies
- Hemorrhoid Procedures
- Oncologic Surgery for Breast or Colon Cancer
- Antireflux Surgery
- Skin Grafting
- 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Monday-Thursday; 7a-3:30p; 32 hrs/week, but more made-up w/ On Call
- Weekend requirements TBD
- On Call Approx 10 call shifts/month. Call consists of: Monday-Thursday 3.30p-7a. Friday-Sunday 7a-7p. Call split with staff
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of current OR experience in a hospital setting
- Circulator w/ strong Ortho experience
- Previous Travel - Preferred
- Bachelor Degree - Preferred
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- BLS (AHA)
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
- Vermont
