Job Description
Currently working with a hospital in Glens Falls, NY to assist with coverage for an RN position in the Labor and Delivery department with a start date of 2/13/2023. Please find additional details regarding the opportunity below.
Job Description:
- 13 weeks
- 7A-7P
- On-call TBD
- Weekends TBD
- # of Beds: 20
- Snuggery: Level 1
- Patient census: Approximately 90-100 deliveries per month
- Not required to circulate or scrub cesarean sections
- Responsible for baby in OR, and mother in PACU with a second nurse
- A shared leadership model encourages nursing engagement and decision making at the bedside
- EMR: Cerner
Requirements:
- 2+ years of current L&D/LDRP experience
- Must be able to care for laboring mothers
- BLS/CPR (AHA), ACLS, and NRP Active
- Minimum of intermediate ERM class completion
Certification Requirements:
- ACLS (AHA)
- NRP
- BLS (AHA)
License:
- New York
