Location: Central, CA
Hourly Range: $46.47 - $65.05
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (with 3+ years of RN experience)
Shift: 6:45 PM 7:15 AM

About the Role

WellTech Partners is partnered with a healthcare facility in Central, CA that is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit. This full-time, night shift role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional care to infants, children, adolescents, and adult patients while working alongside a dedicated healthcare team.

The Pediatric RNs are responsible for holistic patient care, assessing, planning, and delivering high-quality nursing interventions to support recovery and improve outcomes. This position requires strong critical thinking skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a passion for pediatric patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, and deliver age-appropriate nursing care for pediatric and medical-surgical patients.

  • Perform holistic assessments addressing physical, psychosocial, educational, and discharge needs.

  • Administer medications safely and troubleshoot clinical equipment as needed.

  • Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive, individualized care plans.

  • Monitor and document patient status, promptly reporting changes to the appropriate provider.

  • Adhere to infection prevention protocols and hospital safety standards.

  • Uphold nursing ethics, Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals, and California Board of Nursing practice standards.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Current California RN license (required).

  • Minimum 1-2 years of RN experience (pediatric experience preferred).

  • Basic computer skills and ability to interpret patient care documentation.

Certifications:

  • BLS Required (must be obtained before hands-on patient care).

  • PALS Required within 6 months of hire.

  • ACLS Required within 6 months of hire.

Skills:

  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Compassionate and family-centered approach to pediatric care.

  • Effective communication and collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
