Job Description
Job Title: Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday - No on-call or weekends required
Setting: Inpatient
Job Description:
- Provide medical/psychiatric/nursing care for acute and chronic health problems
- Promote wellness through preventive and intervention methods
- Evaluate, manage, and initiate referrals in line with patient needs and clinical protocols
- Offer telephonic consultation and after-hours/weekend call duty when necessary
Qualifications:
- Master's in Nursing from an accredited university or college
- Florida licensure as a registered nurse and certification as an APRN
- Specialty education or training in psychiatry
- Certification by ANCC as a Clinical Specialist in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing
- Minimum of one year of experience as an ANCC board certified Psychiatric APRN
- Current CPR and CPI certifications
