RN – House Supervisor
$44.25/hr - $61.96
$2,000 Instate relo, Up to $7,500 out of state
RN – House Supervisor
Under the general authority of the Director of Critical Care Services and Staffing Office, the Nursing Supervisor functions as an Administrative extension for all patient care areas of the Hospital. Is responsible to ensure that staff assigned have the abilities to assess, treat or provide care appropriate to the ages of the patient served. Collaborates with other supervisors to provide adequate staffing of Nursing units facility wide. In the absence of Hospital Administration, assumes Administrative responsibilities.
- 3-12hrs shift
- 6:45p – 7:30am
Education/License/Certification:
- Must have current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Anyone hired into this role after 3/12/19 must have their BSN or be actively enrolled in a BSN program and obtain their degree within 28 months of hire.
- Must have and maintain current BLS Certification or obtain within orientation process, prior to hands-on patient care.
- Must have and maintain ACLS Certification or obtain within six (6) months of hire date
Experience/Skills:
- Must have evidence of continuing education in supervision, education, or management
- Prior management experience as a Charge Nurse, Assistant Director or Director is required.
- Anyone hired after 1/5/2021 must have recent experience of at least two (2) years in clinical nursing.
