We are seeking a Nurse Manager ($115,000+ DOE) with an interest or background in behavioral health to join our team and to support our patients in one of our specialty care programs:

  • Inpatient:
    • Crisis Stabilization
    • Mental Health
    • Substance Abuse
    • The Military Program
    • Co-Occurring Disorders
  • Outpatient:
    • The Women’s Program
    • Mental Health
    • Substance Abuse
    • Co-Occurring Disorders


About the Role

The Nurse Manager is an essential support to our adult psychiatric patient population and nursing staff. This position is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with our established standards of care, mental health practices and hospital policy, goals and objectives. This role will join our Chief Nursing Officer, second Nurse Manager, and Nurse Supervisors to lead our nurse and tech staff, and contribute to the hospitals philosophy of continuing improvement and high-quality behavioral health care.


Position Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required. Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management.
  • Experience: Highly prefer at least (3) years of supervisory nursing experience. Previous nursing experience in a psychiatric nursing facility a plus.
  • Licensure: Active, unencumbered Oregon nursing license or ability to obtain prior to hire.
  • Training: Thorough knowledge of the Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements. Successful completion of CPR Certification, Crisis Management and Service Excellence training must occur within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting in any restraining procedures. May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.Additional Requirements: Must possess demonstrated leadership ability, the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups and individuals, and strong oral and written communication skills.
