Overview:
Our prestigious charter school is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to support student health and wellness in a temporary school-based role. This position focuses on providing direct care, health education, and emergency support while promoting a safe and healthy learning environment for students and staff.

Position Offers:
• Monday–Friday schedule, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide student health assessments and nursing evaluations
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and school guidelines
• Deliver first aid and respond to medical emergencies as needed
• Develop and maintain individualized student healthcare plans
• Educate students on wellness, preventive care, and healthy habits
• Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
• Collaborate with school staff and families to support student health needs
• Support students with chronic and acute health conditions throughout the school day

Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted New York Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
• Current BLS or CPR/First Aid certification
• School nursing, pediatrics, community health, or adolescent care experience preferred
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced school setting
