Job description
Travel MRI Technologists perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans on patients using specialized equipment and techniques. They ensure patient safety and comfort during the scanning process and produce high-quality images for radiologists to interpret. Travel MRI Technologists work on a contract basis at different healthcare facilities throughout the country.
Responsibilities:
- Position patients in the MRI scanner and explain the scanning process
- Select and operate appropriate MRI sequences
- Monitor patients during the scan and ensure their safety and comfort
- Produce high-quality images for radiologists to interpret
- Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment
- Keep accurate patient records
