Job Description
Nurse to pt ratios are 4:1 for most SDICU patients 3:1 if pt is on titrating gtts Q2 hr Neuro checks CIWA greater than 15 stable trach home vent TAVR- post sheath removal post-op thoracotomy post op carotid endarterectomy art lines epidurals placed within 24 hours Hipec first 24 hours etc.
Qualifications and Job Info
2+ years of recent experience in critical care
Proficient in discussing vasoactive cardiac medications and mechanism of action, interpret rhythm strips, have experience with endtool
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Active state license (Illinois)
Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism when interacting with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff members.
