Are you an experienced Pre-Op/PACU Nurse seeking a leadership opportunity? We're currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Manager to join our team in Greenvale, NY. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care while leading a team of passionate healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the Clinical Director of Nursing, the Nurse Manager will be responsible for effectively implementing the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the center as they relate to patient care.
- During periods of delegation by the Clinical Director, the Nurse Manager will have authority over patient care, human resources, and clinical financial management.
- In the absence of the Clinical Director of Nursing, the Nurse Manager will have the authority to make decisions in these areas.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of Pre-Op/PACU experience is required.
- Valid RN license in the state of New York.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
