Registered Nurse / RN - PCU

NEW PCU RN Opening – Eastern Oklahoma

We’re seeking an experienced PCU Registered Nurse to join our team near Muskogee, OK. This is a direct hire role with excellent pay and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care in a progressive care setting.

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse I assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies. This role focuses on monitoring and evaluating patient functional status while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide care using the nursing process with attention to patient age, culture, and psychosocial factors

• Document all steps of the nursing process and use proper medical terminology

• Monitor patient progress and address problems toward achieving goals

• Facilitate patient discharges with timely referrals and education

• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure safe and effective care

• Support hospital goals through education and performance improvement activities

• Exercise independent judgment in planning and prioritizing care

Required Skills & Experience:

• At least one year of acute care RN experience (strong Med/Surg background required)

• Previous PCU experience strongly preferred

• Knowledge of disease state management, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways

• Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills

• Attention to detail when assessing clinical and numerical data

Education Requirements:

• ADN or ASN degree

Licensure & Certification:

• Valid multi-state or Oklahoma RN license

• BLS certification

Job Details:

• Direct hire, hospital-based role (Muskogee campus)

• Night shift: 7:00pm – 7:00am

• Pay range: $33 – $51 per hour (based on experience)
