Registered Nurse (RN) - Recovery | Travel Contract

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Recovery for a 16-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have recent Recovery/PACU experience and a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Assignment Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Recovery
• Contract Duration: 16 Weeks
• Shift: 12-Hour Days
• Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week
• Employment Type: Travel Assignment
• Start Date: September 21, 2026
• End Date: January 9, 2027

Compensation

Estimated Weekly Pay

• Weekly Gross: $1,919
• Weekly Taxable: $792
• Weekly Non-Taxable: $1,127

Hourly Breakdown

• Hourly Taxable Rate: $22.00
• Hourly Blended Rate: $53.31
• Overtime Rate: $33.00

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from surgical and procedural interventions.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, quality, and infection control standards.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Recovery/PACU nursing experience.
• Current AHA BLS Certification required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Holiday Requirements

Candidates must be willing to work:

Two (2) Major Holidays from:

• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day
• New Year's Day

One (1) Minor Holiday from:

• Day After Thanksgiving
• Christmas Eve
• New Year's Eve

Additional Information

• Travel candidates only.
• Candidates living within 50 miles are not eligible.
• Compliance documents must be submitted by the Wednesday prior to the assignment start date.
• Badge photo required before start.
