Job Description
Currently working with a hospital in Glens Falls, NY to assist with coverage for an RN position in Telemetry - Neuro / Med Surg / Float (Nights) with a start date of 02/16/2023. Please find additional details regarding the opportunity below.
Job Description:
- 13 weeks
- Nights (12hrs)
- On-Call Rotating call pool to accommodate dips in census
- Every Other Weekend/Holiday Rotation
- # of Beds in unit: 16
- RN to Patient ratio: 4:1
- Remote Tele Unit
- EMR: Cerner
- Dress code: Scrubs, no mandatory color
- Patient Population: Adult - Geriatric
Requirements:
- WILL TO FLOAT TO OTHER MS UNITS
- 2+ years of Medical-Surgical/Tele experience
- Previous travel of at least 6 months - Strongly Preferred
- Must have telemetry experience, prefer to have recently worked in an INPATIENT environment where the patient to nurse ratio is at least 4:1
- Supervisory references from recent travel assignment
- Should have experience with treatment and management of cardiac arrhythmia
Certification Requirements:
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
License:
- New York
