AMG Healthcare Services is currently seeking Med/Surg RNs & Acute Neuro Med/Surg RNs with at least 2 years (s) of acute care and recent work experience in the Medical-Surgical Telemetry specialty for a contract assignment at a hospital facility located in Peoria, IL 61637

13-week or 26-week assignment options are available. $60/hr + for qualified candidates, referral, completion, and re-sign bonus incentives.

POSITION DETAILS Med/Surg (Adult Medical Specialty)

• Position: Med/Surg Float RN Contract Position - Temp Assignment (13 or 26 Week Assignment)
• Pay Rate Options: Varies
  • Starting Rate of $60.00/hr upwards to $70.00/hr must be willing to work every other weekend shift per week.
    
• Location: Peoria, IL 61637
• Schedule: Full-time 12hr Night Shift (3 Shits per week)
• Facility Setting: Hospital
• Duration: 13-Week Assignment & 26-week assignment options. (Additional extension/permanent position opportunities possible)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• RN License IL– Must be active & in good standing
• Active BLS (AHA ONLY)
• EMR: EPIC & Pyxis machine
• Must be able to float to other departments: Inpatient (ICU, Step Down, Tele, Med-Surg)
• General Nursing Duties: Some bedside procedures. Treat patients with cellulitis, pancreatitis, diabetes, pain management, etc.

• Position: Acute Neuro Med/Surg RN Contract Position - Temp Assignment (13 or 26 Week Assignment)
• Pay Rate Options: Varies
  • Starting Rate of $60.00/hr upwards to $70.00/hr must be willing to work every other weekend shift per week.
• Location: Peoria, IL 61637
• Schedule: Full-time 12hr Night Shift (3 Shifts per week)
• Facility Setting: Hospital

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to float to other departments: Gen Med/Sug (Nephrology, Oncology, Ortho, Adult Medical Surgical, Surgical, Rehab, Cardiac)
• General Nursing Duties: Assessments q4h, medication administration, reassessment of interventions, ADL (do have tech support), blood administration, apply back and neck brace, Gtube feeding, IV insertions and maintenance, central line use and maintenance, pain management, dressing changes, oral care, turning, restraints, etc
  
  • Type of patients: All Neuroscience. Neck and back spinal surgery, stroke, brain tumor, seizure, head injury, MS, Myasthenia Gravis, Peripheral neuropathy, encephalopathy, Spinal fractures, etc.
