Job Type: Registered Nurse – Telemetry Inpatient Care
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift with Rotating Weekends
Position Overview

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments during admission and each shift—monitor cardiac and neurological status closely

Interpret telemetry data and respond to critical changes in rhythm or neurological parameters

Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinicians to adjust care plans based on clinical findings

Administer treatments and medications as ordered, ensuring safe and timely delivery of care

Accurately document all aspects of care and patient response

Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and recovery expectations in a clear and supportive manner

About the Facility
This position is based at a well-established, 221 bed acute care hospital serving Central Florida. The facility is a designated Level II Trauma Center with the region’s only full-service cardiovascular program—offering open-heart surgery, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, rehabilitation, and diagnostic services. Additional specialties include neurosciences, orthopedic and spine care, robotic surgery, and acute rehabilitation.
