Shift: Full-time, choice between Days or Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Unit: 50-bed Cardiac Medical Telemetry
Ratio: 6:1 (targeting 5:1)
Average Patient Stay: 5 days
Patient Population: Chronic cardiac patients (CHF, Afib, Chronic Renal Failure), elderly, and medical admissions not requiring ICU/PCU level of care
On Call: None

Your Role

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a telemetry unit

• Monitor and assess cardiac and medical-surgical patients, identifying clinical changes promptly

• Administer medications, document accurately, and respond to patient needs

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and recovery plans

• Promote safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the care experience
