Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg–Telemetry Float

NEW Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg–Telemetry Float | Direct Hire

Seeking a flexible and experienced Registered Nurse to join a Med/Surg–Telemetry Float Pool. This role provides care across multiple inpatient units and requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and comfort floating between Med-Surg, Remote Telemetry, and PCU as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient nursing care to 5–6 medical and surgical patients

• Monitor and manage telemetry patients using remote monitoring systems

• Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

• Document care and patient responses in the EMR

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support safe, effective care

Technology & Equipment:

• Meditech EMR

• Pyxis medication dispensing system

• Alaris IV pumps

• Remote telemetry monitoring

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Minimum of 1 year acute care experience required

• EKG competency required

• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS

Schedule & Floating:

• Must be willing to work every other weekend or one weekend shift per week

• Weekend shifts include Saturday and Sunday

• Float to all Med-Surg Remote Tele units on 2nd and 3rd floors

• Occasional float to PCU required
