Experienced Medical Telemetry Nurse needed in Central TX
Still hiring during COVID-19.
The staff nurse uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate highest quality nursing care. As a patient advocate, he/she coordinates the care of the patient through collaboration and appropriate delegation. The nurse provides age-specific care and teaching to selected patient populations. He/she monitors and recognizes changes in physiologic status, takes appropriate action based on assessment, and evaluates and documents findings and patient response.
Quick Facts -
- One of the largest rural hospitals in Texas
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred. NO New graduates.
- Current ACLS/BLS required
- 32 bed unit, 5 to 1 total care ratio.
- Types of cases: Post OP urology/orthopedic/ophthalmology, pediatrics to geriatrics, Gynecology, General surgery, and Telemetry
- Days and nights available -- Hours: 7-7
- 8-12 week orientation
- Software: Medhost
