*** Part Time 1 day per week (Tuesday) with the possibility to grow to two days per week as our case load increases in the surgery center ****
JOB BRIEF
We are looking for a qualified registered nurse for our Ambulatory Surgery Center for part-time work. You will work with a variety of pain management patients and provide direct nursing care.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Rendering of professional care to our patients, making every effort to remain a flexible, cooperative and supportive member of our clinical team
- Acting as a liaison between the physician and the patient and patient’s family or support person(s)
- Maintaining the role of patient advocate
- Must have excellent IV start skills
- Dealing compassionately, professionally, and courteously with patients, their families, physicians, and fellow staff
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensing: Possess an active Maryland Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS certification
- Participation in continuing education
Clinical expertise in ambulatory surgery center nursing preferred
Job Type: Part-time 1 day per week (Tuesday) with the possibility to grow to two days per week
