Full-time positions for experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to work at the Naval Medical Center at Portsmouth, VA.

Various schedules for CNMs:
No on-call!
Minimal weekends!
12 hour shift on Labor Unit
8 hour shifts in OB/Gyn Clinic

Job duties:
Certified Nurse Midwife will practice full scope Midwifery
Certified Nurse Midwife must have the following:

Be a graduate of a Certified Nurse Midwife Education Program accredited by the American College of Nurse-Midwives.
Possess current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in any U.S. state
Possess and maintain a current certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
Possess BLS (Basic Life Support)

Possess current certification in one of the following: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics (ALSO); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
