Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, the OB/GYN Nurse Midwife will be a part of an organization whose mission is to care for the citizens of Lenoir County. What started out as a small one-room clinic, has grown into a thriving practice to meet the needs of the community. Their focus is providing quality healthcare.

$75,000 - $85,000 Salary depending on experience

Registered Nurse RN / Nurse Midwife / Outpatient

Job Responsibilities

Nurse midwife provides a full range of primary healthcare services to women including checkups, family planning visits, preconception care, prenatal and postpartum care and delivering babies.

Additional responsibilities for the Nurse Midwife include:

Shift is Mon-Fri 8am-6pm
Provider expected to see a minimum of (25) patients daily
Provide call coverage at local hospital (rotation)

Job Requirements

We are looking for dedicated and professional Nurse Midwife who are committed to providing exceptional patient care and service. It is also important that you are highly organized and that you demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Specific qualifications for the Nurse Midwife role include:

BSN required and MSN preferred.
Current RN and Certified Nurse Midwife Licensure required.
Current DEA and BLS required
Minimum of (2) years as an RN in woman's services is required.
Minimum of (1) year as a CNM preferred.
