Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - (Psych Nurse - Psych NP) Locum Tenens

StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Correctional facility is in need of a locum tenens Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to fill in until a permanent provider can be found. This position starts immediately and will last for at least 2 months. The schedule is Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. Clinic setting, ages 18-75. No call required. A psychiatric nurse practitioner(locum tenens) provides therapeutic and psychiatric services to patients in need. These practitioners may work in a wide range of sectors, including as social workers, pastors, or addiction counselors. Mental health practitioners diagnose and assess their patients' needs and work to create effective plans for rehabilitation, conducting therapy sessions, prescribing medicine, and making referrals as necessary.
