Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner - (Urgent Care -NP) Locum Tenens

New Locum Tenen opportunity in Massachusetts for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at an Urgent Care facility starting in October. This is a client of ours who has 5 sites in Massachusetts and repeated needs throughout the year. Provider will be working with a full support staff, and should expect to see an average of 18 patients per day. Currently there are about 2-5 shifts a week, including all Mondays. An urgent care nurse practitioner (locum tenens) provides care and clinical management of patients within an urgent care setting. These practitioners manage a multitude of responsibilities to include; recording patient history, performing physical examinations, prescribing medications, diagnostic testing, and developing treatment plans. An urgent care nurse practitioner also will participate in case management and continuing care for patients.
