Job Description
The Opportunity
-Develop and maintain competency for assigned area of responsibility, orient and precepts new employees
-Keep working files on assigned staff members and provide in-service training as indicated
-Organize; direct, plan and manage the services offered through the PACU, Ambulatory,
Endoscopy departments and remain in compliance with standards of care determined by
regulatory agencies
-Provides support to the surgeon, registered nurses, certified surgical techs and CRNA in the operating room
-Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing required and five years of emergency or critical care nursing experience and two years of supervisory experience
-One week of call every month
