Job Details:
Our client, a 300+ bed hospital located in SE coastal GA, about 60 miles from Jacksonville, FL, has a need for 2 night shift ER RNs to join their team. Experienced candidates only please. Sorry, no new grads.
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Care Center provides patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
Demonstrates professional growth and development
Uses good judgment
Utilizes patient care supplies/equipment in a fiscally responsible manner
Exhibits positive interpersonal skills

The Registered Nurse performs the following essential responsibilities:
Effectively manages the care of assigned patients using knowledge, skills, judgment and decision making skills for the specific area. Effectively carries out charge nurse role when assigned.
Delivers patient care utilizing guidelines of care and appropriate resources, including personnel, services, supplies and equipment.
Reviews, evaluates and takes appropriate action regarding results of diagnostic tests.
Administers medications according to SGHS policy.
Performs and documents a nursing assessment to identify and prioritize physical, psychosocial and cultural needs and develops a plan of care.
Evaluates and reassesses nursing interventions based on interdisciplinary plan of care and makes revisions as appropriate.
Develops and implements an education plan in collaboration with patient and family.
Ensures documentation meets compliance with regulatory standards.


Qualifications:
Current Georgia RN license required
2 years ER nursing experience in an acute care setting required.
Current American Heart Association CPR Certification (BLS) preferred.
