$15,000 Sign on Bonus at this time that could be used for relocation.
Job Details:
Our client, a 130+ bed hospital located about 25 miles from Atlanta, GA, has a need for ER RNs to join their team. This is a Night shit position working 3 12s.
30 ED beds plus 4 psych hold rooms (3-4 patients per RN)

ED ADC 150
Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and within the policies of the organization. Will assess, plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate the care of patients presenting to the Emergency Department. Reports to: Nurse Manager.
• Performs patient assessments and reassessments to recognize abnormal findings and takes action to address. Also includes medication administration/reconciliation, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Employee shall endeavor to provide a superior patient experience.
• Performs medication bar-code scanning consistently and within expected time frames.
• Ensures Core Measures are complete for CHF, AMI, PN, VTE, Stroke, Sepsis, Sedation, Transfers and vaccinations. Promotes and supports efforts to reduce patient harms.
• May place venous access device into external jugular.
Qualifications

Minimum Education:
Associate’s degree Required
Bachelor’s degree Preferred

Required Skills:
1 year job related experience required.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire

Licenses:
Current GA RN

$24.00 – $40.50/hr
$15,000 sign on bonus at this time that could be used for relocation.

RN Differentials:
• $3.50 Nights (6p-6a)
• $4.00 Weekends (6p on Friday to 6a Monday)
• $3.00 On-Call
• $4.00 Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years are time and ½)
