Job Details:

The client, a large health system in the Raleigh, NC area, is experiencing a growth period and is in need of many L&D RNs to join their hospitals, including a BRAND NEW women’s hospital opening this summer.
Day & Night shift L&D RNs Needed for Raleigh campus
• Delivers more than 5,300 babies each year
• Specializing in high-risk pregnancies
• Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit – the county’s most experienced and technologically advanced NICU. Staffed by eight full-time neonatologists.
• Beginning in May we will have:
• 15 L&D rooms and 3 OR’s
• 8 Bed Triage Unit staffed with 3 RN’s and mid-level providers
• Private physicians and UNC OB residents
• OB Providers in house 24/7
• Level 4 NICU on site
• Over 100 RN’s on staff, 11 Surgical Scrub Techs and 5 Sec/Techs
• Nurse/Patient Ratio: 1:1 up to 1:3 in triage depending on patient status
• Self-Scheduling
• Award 10th in the Nation for lowest Primary C/S rate
• Involvement in many quality initiatives, and EBP research
Prefer L&D experience but will consider Med/Surg ,Critical Care, ED. Mother Baby, Antepartum experience of minimum 1 year.
