Job Description
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - CRNA position in Tampa.

- Expertly lead care team model: 1 Supervising Interventional Pain Physician and 1 CRNA

- Preanesthetic medication
- General anesthesia and adjuvant drugs
- Regional anesthesia techniques
- Subarachnoid
- Epidural
- Caudal
- Upper extremity
- Lower extremity
- Diagnostic and therapeutic nerve blocks
- Local infiltration
- Topical
- Periocular block
- Transtracheal
- Intracapsular
- Intercostal
- Sedation techniques
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation management
- Invasive and noninvasive monitoring
- Airway management techniques
- Mechanical ventilation/oxygen therapy
- Fluid, electrolyte, acid-base management
- Blood, blood products, plasma expanders
- Peripheral intravenous/arterial catheter placement
- Acute and chronic pain therapy
- Post anesthesia care/discharge
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current state licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Florida, compliant with any applicable state statutory or regulatory requirements concerning advanced practice registered nursing
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
- Insurable by an appropriate medical malpractice insurer for the limits required by this institution or state
- BCLS certification
- ACLS preferred or basic EKG or Arrhythmia identification certification
- Complies with one of the following requirements regarding certification eligibility, initial certification, or recertification:
- Meets education and experience criteria listed above, and is awaiting initial certification or
- Is currently certified by the Council on Certification of Nurses Anesthetists or its predecessor; or
- Is currently recertified by the Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.
