(Archived) Locums Anesthesiology – CRNA

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team. As a CRNA, you will play a vital role in providing anesthesia care for a diverse range of cases at our Level 2 Trauma Center. Our facility offers a challenging and rewarding environment where you can utilize your expertise in cardiac, orthopedic, general, neurosurgery, vascular, endo, GYN, robotics, and trauma cases. Please note that this position does not involve pediatric or obstetric cases.

Responsibilities:

· Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

· Perform a full range of procedures, including regional blocks, spinals, and placement of central and arterial lines.

· Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized anesthesia plans based on patient needs.

· Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout the perioperative period.

· Utilize your expertise in providing anesthesia care during cardiac, orthopedic, general, neurosurgery, vascular, endo, GYN, robotics, and trauma cases.

· Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care and patient records.

· Participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage, if available and willing.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• Active Florida state license.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications.
• NBCRNA (National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists) certification.
• Experience with a diverse range of cases, including general to trauma cases, is preferred.

Our facility offers a collaborative and supportive work environment with state-of-the-art equipment and 15 operating rooms. We utilize the Meditech electronic medical record system for streamlined documentation and communication.
