Job Description
MedCare Staffing is seeking an LPN for an addiction treatment center in Brooklyn, NY. This facility treats the person as a whole, no matter their addiction or mental health illness they will be treated with respect and care. This clinic has seven opioid treatment programs in the communities of Brooklyn and Manhattan. In addition to offering primary medical care and comprehensive HIV/AIDS (and HEP C treatment) services, they also provide mental health counseling to adolescents in the juvenile justice system.
Accreditations include: OASAS, CARF, NYSDOH, NYSOMH
Details
- Full time with excellent benefits package
- Assist the head RN with tasks
- Maintains the medical charts, the medical unit appointment book and daily visit log book.
- Provides the physician or physician assistant with urine toxicology and other laboratory data as they become available.
- Performs phlebotomy, EKGs, immunizations, vital signs and assists in urine collection.
- Assists physician or PA with pelvic exams
