Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Full-Time
or Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse with experience in Geriatric Nursing. As
our LPN you will give direct nursing care including ordering and dispensing
medications, filling medi-sets, treatments, procedures, verifying and
implementing doctor’s orders. The LPN will perform other activities related to
nursing care of the residents in collaboration with the Nurse Manager.
Required:
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing
- LPN license from the state of Tennessee
- Current CPR certification for health care providers
- Demonstrates competent nursing skills appropriate to license
- Ability to relate with the elderly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to take initiative when appropriate
